Hi Jefferson, Polite yes. Competitive Always. Some of the finest marksmen on the planet reside North of the U.S. border. I've had my share of tight battles with very polite Canadians. Hell, they are even polite after they kick your ass. Bob

Advice on front rest for F Class Open / Benchrest shooting

Hi Greg, Since Larry wouldn't say so, yes it's one of my rests. The lavender color is from the discoloration in the film. Shiraz figured out long ago that if you shoot a joy stick, it can and will move during recoil unless you hold the handle. I've been working in my shop and making stuff...

    Citranox and sonic cleaning

Good Morning East Coast The Citranox is amazing. 1oz. per gallon of water and 20 mins. in the sonic cleaner. I have a 5 gallon commercial sonic cleaner and can clean 500 cases at a time. No snow here. It's a balmy 64 degrees! I've just retired from Benchrest and F Class shooting after 12...

    Citranox and sonic cleaning

Question for anyone with experience using Citranox for cleaning brass. I spent the day cleaning 5,000 rounds of .45 acp today and some of the brass came out with a pink tint. Has anyone experienced this before? Thank You in advance for any replys.

    A Chambering Experience.

Sharpening HSS inserts Hi Justin, Great to see you on the site. When you sharpen the Arthur R. Warner HSS inserts, just use a wet stone with some oil and put the top side down and move it in a circular motion. It only takes 30 seconds and it's ready to rock and roll again. Most times it's...

    Threading issue.

Hi Bigngreen, The Arthur R. Warner threading kit comes with a neutral and a positive threading insert. Use the positive insert on CM. For fine threads only take .002 per pass and use your slowest speed. Call me if you are still having problems. Bob Pastor 1-269-521-3671. I'm on Eastern...

    Probably a stupid question, But

Jeff is absolutely correct. To prove this, the next time you are threading a tenon check your action fit when you get close. Usually the first few threads will fit perfectly then start to tighten up. Take another .001 cut and the action will fit a few threads further up the tenon. On each...

OK all you'se HSS hand-grinding goofballs.....

http://youtu.be/LKGkkGFsF50 Hi Al, What you are doing will work perfectly. There is an easier system with indexable HSS inserts. They are inexpensive, you can buy them one at a time and you can sharpen them with a wet stone in less than a minute. Bob

    barrel breakin not breakin-worsening/

A cut rifle barrel will not be broken in until around 50 rounds. It's like seasoning a cast iron skillet. It takes a bit more time than a lapped button rifle barrel. Just work with it.
