I bought all I could afford from Powder Valley back in April, interesting thing is that it is all 2011 manufacture where has it been the last 5 years ???? First time I have seen it for sale in a decade, my 1995 lot is about gone. I have a 222 that loves the stuff !!!

    8208xbr

To say it has fallen out of favor with the benchrest crowd is an understatement. It's big release was in 2010. To back up and tell this to the best of my knowledge, Lou Murdica was trying to work with IMR to reproduce the original military 8208 that so many benchresters fell in love with...

    Edge Stocks

Just my own observation's, when they first came out quite a few shooters switched to them. don't see many use them or sell them anymore except Lester Bruno (same city and all). might want to call Bruno Shooters Supply and talk to Lester for better info.

    Fast twist longer range PPC

I have not done this myself but know a fellow that has. If you have your own ppc reamer you dont need to change a thing just use a 1-8" or 1-9" twist barrel, forget about the 105's and use Berger 95gr VLD's (they have a significantly shorter bearing surface than the 105's but still have plenty...

    Wasatch action?

The Wasatch action was made by a fellow named Brad Stair. He was originally from Texas, I met him when he was in Colorado Springs and his gunsmith business was "Performance Guns". He moved to West Haven, Utah where he continued his gunsmith business with all of his own case designs he called...

Wilber...criteria for not having post's deleted

Wilber, What is the criteria for having posts deleted.........???????????.You own the site and bring the hammer, but this site is the most heavy handed as far as selecting what it will allow, I wrote a thread that was 100% truth and was deleted within minutes...why ??? it was done with a smile...

    Bulllet sorting

Out of curiosity I went and opened up a new 250 count box of the Berger 300gr Hybrids lot#2617, I took out 25 and weighed. all were between 299.9gr and 300.2gr ..........excellent no need to weigh. I then measured bearing surface with a tool I bought from Bill Shehane years back (cant think of...

    Bulllet sorting

I dont know about the hybrids, but with the 300gr .338cal SMK's it is an absolute must to sort by bearing surface. best advice I can give is take a handful and weigh and measure carefully, a grain or so weight wise will not make a difference but more than .002" in bearing surface will.

    TOP actions of the SS

This has the same problem as many of your post's.... arrogance and being short sighted on who buys your B.S. and your product.
