DONT....it ain that simple you will likely be very disappointed. Talk to mike first he bought a ton of 30-30 cases, selected the best, THEN went to work on them to make the useful..machined the face of the case head. neck turned of course. not sure what else..it might be in the history...

i think it is proper to say it is BASED on a 30-30 case..but stops there. full blown br specs in actual use

al. i did everything you guys suggested back when it was first built. then went to my process, neither worked..so changing the bbl

i tried the heavy tension and jam as suggested but got nowhere . went back to my normal 2 neck tension, somewhere off touch total clearance is between 2 and 3..i do not have actuals in front of me right now. did just order a bartlien 1/17

thanks guys...i did this several years back when i had this rifle built, but now no happy and just checking to make sure what is the current normal in 30 br...my first br was a cleaned up 700 action and a used bb..i was the third owner..i i shot 6 zeros with it on one day....foolish me i had it...
