generaly speaking during normal handeling,shipping etc. wouldn't there be SOME natural settling/sifting occuring?. You know smaller grains to the bottom that sort of thing. Or if a powder container was vibrated wouldn't the smaller grains also sink in the container. And wouldn't those tendencies make the first few load batches from a container be predominantly the larger grains in that container? therby reduceing load densities initially.
VV133 isn't perfectly clean. I found this stuck in my powder measure a couple years ago. The measure started to act very erratic, so I tore it apart and this was stuck just above the drop tube. Looks like a piece of extruded powder that didn't get cut into pieces.

If I remember, about 10 years ago, there was a article in the now defunct Shooters News, about sifting powder. The Author was pretty exstensive, but I can't remember what the general consensus was concerning the results.......jackie
It's not just the '07, as far back as I can remember 133 has looked like this.......jackie
