Steve,
I have narrowed my choices down to 3 powders (H380 - Varget - R15) H380 measures very easy due to its spherical shape, but it is not an "extreme" powder - so I don't use that anymore. If I loaded up 3 rounds of each Varget and R15 and shot the groups - I probably couldn't tell which was which. That is the nice thing about the 22-250 - it digests just about everything. Isn't the 22-250 based off of the 30-06 case?

When I had .22-250's I liked RL-15 in them. Lots of velocity, good accuracy, but throat life wasn't too great. I'm one of the minority I guess who never had much luck with H380.
Mr. Elliott,
Thanks for the information. Actually, I've never heard of the 250-3000 Savage. Does that mean the 30-06 would be the grandparent of the 22-250? Didn't mean to hijack your thread Steve.
