Jerry,
I was shooting the "Grinch". It's a 6.5 Grendel case blown out to a 40 degree shoulder. Its the brain child of Dean and Brett Stroud of Cape Girardeau Missouri. Its kind of like shooting a zippy BR. At Riverbend I was shooting 80 gr Dominators with a 12 twist barrel. That was my first time out with it at a match. Greg King won a 100 yard match in Kansas City (18xx agg) with the same combination. It appears to be just as accurate as a PPC, but should really shine in snotty conditions at 200 yards.
I just got back from the 600 yard IBS Nationals. I shot the Grinch with 8 twist Bartlein and 103 grain bullets. It's shot very well! They started with around 84 shooters. I Came in 7th in group in the light gun. Overall in group if you combined the LG and HG I believe I was 12th. It shot some impressive groups, 1.1, 1.4, 1.5 1.6. Those are the smallest groups I've shot in competition. It agged a 2.3 for 16 targets. Pretty impressive little cartridge! That wasn't shabby for the first time out with that combination.
