    N133 Temperature Sensitivity

I’m shooting the 52 Matchking’s and I really like them. They are just kind of hard to find.

    N133 Temperature Sensitivity

Hello all, I figured I’d come to the source, so to speak, as I know you all use a lot of N133. I’m an older guy, crested that 70 mark, mostly shoot for fun, but do shoot Groundhog Shoots here in the Northeast. I shoot a custom 223 with 52 grain bullets. Over the years I have used many...

    Barts Bullets

Gerry, are you suggesting that I should stay with the Nosler’s I am using and forget about the Barts? Don’t mean the response in a flip way, just asking.

    Barts Bullets

I tried 55’s, made by different manufacturers, but the rifle just likes the 52’s. I’m getting pretty good groups with the other bullets, hoping with the Barts flat base I can get them a bit smaller. Glad to hear the Barts shoot good for you.

    Barts Bullets

Butch, I’m sorry. I am buying .224-52 grain right now. However, thank you so much for your generous offer. I wish I had that 6mm rifle already. Have talked to the builder about doing rifle for me. Just a bit slow to pull the trigger.

    Barts Bullets

Hey guys, no one else need reply. It was kind of an absurd question anyway. I was just sitting there and it popped into my head and I typed it out. Think before you type. They would not be a wait for them if they weren’t any good. Thanks for those who took of there time to reply, but I think...

Dave you are likely right. I was just generally asking as have never used these bullets before.

    Barts Bullets

Hi folks, got a question. Are the Barts bullets the best around. I was told that I should try them, so I ordered a box of 100 to test out. Been waiting like six weeks now for them. Are they really worth the wait over some of the other really good bullets. Don’t get me wrong I am not opposed to...

Thank you everyone for all the great information, both yesterday and today. My plan is to just go shoot as soon as I find another match. I wish I could say I was shooting all day today, but the wife wanted to take a day trip. So I’m sure you all know what the chances of going shooting were...

I know the splatter paper is no good, that is why I stopped using it, as I said. I have switched to regular paper, the white one with red graphics, that is the third photo. Again, as I said in my post, this is just a random group that is on my phone to show the target. I never said this was a .1...

I have attached two photos of a random group that is a Caldwell “Site-In” target. Used to sight in riflescopes. It actually has five diamonds on it total. The problem I had with this target the orange stuff was peeling off way wide of the actual cut hole. I have also attached a photo of the...

I looked at my response again, no wonder it’s not clear to you. When I read it back it wasn’t clear to me. I shoot a target known as a sight in target. It has 5 diamonds on each target. On any given range day I put up three of them, so I have a total of 15 diamonds to shoot at. I thought your...

Butch I am replacing the trigger over the winter. I figure if I can reduce my pull a bit I might be able to tighten the groups up a bit. I have already started looking into wind flags. Don’t laugh, but I have been using surveyors tape on thin bamboo rods up to now.

I’m not sure if I will shoot group or score. I’m trying to find out what’s fairly close to me that I can shoot at. I have not shot 5, five shot groups on the same day. I will typically shoot 3, targets that have 5 targets to shoot at one each one. So typically, 15 groups a day. They do almost...
