I would like some other information if anyone knows. Is the rimfire lube beeswax, tallow or a combination of the two? If neither, what is the best guess as to what it really is? I know I could just ask Lapua but that would be too easy. Wayne

I am trying to countersink for a 2-56 flat head screw. Every tool I try just smashes the metal out of the way instead of actually cutting. Does anyone make a good counter sink tool for small holes? Douglas; I'm not real sure but I think one of the modifications the custom shop did was to move the catch on the magazine. The easier thing to do would have been to make a new magazine catch spring. A setup like this would work on your rifle but the magazine slot in the receiver would have to...

I have a 1" one I could send you if you want it. Trouble is it is shcs not a slotted head like the originals. Let me know if you want it. It is threaded all the way to the head. Wayne

The front trigger guard screw is 8-36. Not common but available. Wayne I guess on the long 722 floor plate the 8-36 would be the small hole in the middle not the front one.
