    Recommendations on Rings for a March 8 - 80 x 56 scope...?

For my money I would buy Kelbly rings and never look back. If you are shooting a light recoil cartridge like a PPC, single screws. If you are shooting a 30BR or bigger, double screws. All of my rifles have Tall Kelbly rings and I love them. David

    Wind Flag Question

Were they double vane flags? If so, they were T.K. Nolan and Don Crunk's. And they were coated w/ a Fl. Pink sign Vinyl. I did Don's for him. David

Marcy Lyons has left the range.

There are many of us who have had our heads handed to us by Marcy in his prime. His struggle is now over and he is, I am sure, teaching a whole new crew how to shoot Xs. Rest in Peace Marcy. David

pics of my first benchrest build in progress

it's a score rifle Jerry. Something appraising 13. 5 is what most think they need for a 30BR. Recoil can be punishing on some of the "straight" stocks today.

    rem varmint contour barrel

From a legality standpoint, the HBR is squeaky clean. And wedding stiff. And can make weight in LV easier than most LV barrels, in longer length that many prefer.

I would still use a HBR profile barrel.

Who makes loading boxes like this?

James, if the front cover is a drop front, it was definitely a Ron Shultz product. Chet may have built a few as well, but the majority of those oak boxes were built by Ron. David
