Recommendations on Rings for a March 8 - 80 x 56 scope...?

Hi...

I have read some older posts from forum members on their experience with March scopes.

I recently ordered a March 8 - 80 x 56 scope - which should arrive in a month or two.

I was wondering if anyone here might be able to recommend a great set of Rings to mount this scope to a standard Picatinny Rail...?

I had read in one post that someone had found the Australian rings had a slightly difference tolerance cut than standard rings commonly sold here in the U.S.

Appreciate your sharing your thoughts on this...!

If weight isn't an issue Burris Signature Zee Rings would be my choice for sure. Great rings and no scratches or ring marks on your scope.

I would buy Kelbly rings and never look back. If you are shooting a light recoil cartridge like a PPC, single screws. If you are shooting a 30BR or bigger, double screws. All of my rifles have Tall Kelbly rings and I love them.

I believe the March scope has a 34 mm BODY - won't that be an issue for the Rings...?

A friend had also mentioned - A.R.M.S. #22-34mm Mil-spec/Picatinny Rings - for the March scope - but I am completely unfamiliar with their product line.

I just went with Kelbly's when I bought the scope. Simple, decent rings and they spec'd out close on the Kokopelli's, a minor lap-to-fit, probably would have been OK to just bolt it on :) I bought the big Kelbly's, 300WSM
 
Rings for March 8-80

I got Kelbly rings for mine. Fit Pic rail perfectly, and scope settled right in. No mounting problems whatsoever. Was sighted-in in 5-6 shots. Could not be more pleased with the Kelblys.
 
Yup. Badgers excellent, also. Have my NFs in them. Also available in 34mm.
