    Sinclair/Wilson Trimmer accessories

I see now. For some reason I was thinking I could use the trimmer to hold the chamfer tool with that adapter. That would be nice if I could, but I guess not. ...Which makes me wonder. Does anyone make a tool like a trimmer, which holds your case in alignment for the chamfer/deburr process? I...

    Sinclair/Wilson Trimmer accessories

I do not see any reference in the trimmer description specifying which shell holder type I need to use with it. Any idea which one it is?

    Who makes 35mm picatinny rings?

Anyone know where to get 35mm med or high picatinny rings? I had TSR bookmarked, but now it looks like they may have discontinued their 35mm line.

    Sinclair/Wilson Trimmer accessories

Do regular shell holders work, or do I need the special ones like shown here?: http://www.sinclairintl.com/product/11188/Case-Trimmer-Accessories I'm not sure what you mean by the "platform", either. I am just trimming with this and I won't be using it to neck turn. If I can use it to do the...

    Sinclair/Wilson Trimmer accessories

OK, you all have me convinced to buy the Sinclair/Wilson Ultimate Micrometer Trimmer w/ Shark Fin. Just so I don't regret missing anything, are there any accessories I should grab with it when ordering? I planned on getting the power adapter, but wasn't sure about other useful accessories. Oh...

What does a trillion dollars look like

I just knew that sooner or later, someone would show me an easier way to determine how much money I really have. On second thought, I'd like another drawing showing a much smaller amount, in pennies please. :D

    Wireless Video Transmitters

The lower the frequency, the further the signal will transmit with less attenuation at like power levels. I saw a graph on an amateur television site showing that by halving the frequency you can nearly double the signal range. I believe 2.4Ghz has some natural trouble going very far distances...

    Wireless Video Transmitters

I hope so, Al. ;) I ordered a few of these cameras to build the systems with: http://samsung360.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=10&category_id=8&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26 Here is a photo of the 2W 900Mhz TX board:

    Wireless Video Transmitters

I just found a supplier who is sending me 2W output 900Mhz TX/RX boards. I ordered omni antennas also. I have to mount them inside of project boxes, and maybe install a heatsink on the TX depending on how hot it gets. I'm using a 12V 12AH battery on the TX/camera and a 12V 4.5AH battery on the...

Stiller Python or BAT for Heavy Gun Bench rest

I just ordered a Python last week. I don't think there's any real planning going on to make one, because I was told 6 months by the man I spoke with. But I'm willing to wait.

    Wireless Video Transmitters

I read that article and it looks interesting. I think I am going to order one of the linked setups. I have a nice 19" LCD that would work perfect on the bench.

    Wireless Video Transmitters

I know what you mean Alinwa. I said "should", because I was told even a 1W output with directional antenna can do very long distances. These are from 1W output on up. I am thinking about one of these setups again now that it's spring, but I'm still curious to hear about other proven wireless...

what is everyone using for a caliber

Interesting. I thought that the 6BR was more of a 500-600 yard cartridge. What exactly would the disadvantage be to shooting a 280 Rem with 180 VLDs at 1000 yards, over the 6BR? Just trying to get an idea of how you bench shooters think about your cartridge choices. Thanks

    Aluminum Actions

Truthfully, I wasn't actually concerned about anything wearing out. I was more or less wondering if a steel insert inside of aluminum is something that could cause variances due to expansion differences in the metals. But it sounds like they are well known and widely used, so that seemed to...

    Aluminum Actions

I was looking for my first precision action, and after doing some searching, the Stiller Python looks like a good action for the price. Are there any things which I should know about aluminum actions? Are they as worthy as a solid SS action for precision shooting?

what is everyone using for a caliber

I am currently beginning a new benchrest rifle for personal grouping at 500-1000 yards. Maybe someday if I develop proficiency I will attempt competition. I live in an area where it is often somewhat windy. I was curious, what do you guys think about the 280 Remington for these tasks? I know...
