Looking For Norma 22 PPC Brass

LOL VG the price is one reason I havent been buying Norma for my swift and 22.250. I think that 80 cents for Nosler is damn ridiculous, and a Buck a pop for Norma is just plain out of the ballpark. But at least with the Nosler everything is done, from weighing, to primer pockets, to flash holes...

    Point of impact change

cold barrel Pete, the barrel is allowed to cool completely, the groups are shot at least 45 minutes apart if not longer. I also use a timer set for 2 min. this assures me a good interval in between shots. I get to the range about 7 in the AM and dont leave until about 5 or 6 PM. Plenty of...

    Point of impact change

Foulers Right now my varmint and target rifles have been cleaned and set aside. Its almost hunting season, and time to get used to shooting the heavy kickers. In almost 25 years I have very rarely had a hunting or varmint rifle hit the same point of impact after cleaning. Usually its 3 or 4...

    Free Recoil

OK, I have the formulas for figuring out the amount of recoil, and the recoil velocity for a rifle of a given weight, with a known powder charge, known bullet weight, and a known velocity. What is the formula for figuring the amount of free recoil of the same rifle.

    Starting seating depth

stoney point Robertb I think jaybic is miss reading his stoney point. The comparator adds 1 inch to the reading of the micromreter, and if he is using a digital, and rezeroed, he might be taking this inch out by mistake, if standard caliper, he is still reading something wrong as he is 1.160...

    3X9 and accuracy

Wapiti I did read that article, and it was a good one. For what he had the man was just amazing. He could do with Iron sights what most people could not do with a 60X scope. A riflemans rifleman. One of the best. And yes the Palma guys are incredible too. They have been taught and learned the...

    Reality-- and what people "claim"

alinwa I have to toatally agree with you, I have posted 2 groups that were shot for a diffrent reason, the one on the left is shot at 12X, the one on the right at 6X with the same rifle to disprove a theory on one of the other threads that more scope will improve groups. They were both shot...

    3X9 and accuracy

original question Just curious, how accurately can you shoot an accurate rifle and load with a 3X9 scope? I seem to need singnificantly more power to really test loads etc.. To VG and all the others, I seemed to have answered this question better than all this other BS. It seems to me that if...

techniques I own 2 rifles in 25.06 and have not run into your problem, but do have some suggestions. 1. You state that you bought a texan shell holder which is .2 shorter than the standard. This could be going the wrong way, most of my hard chambering problems have resulted in too long of...
