F TR 223... New for me

For what it is worth I am shooting RL15 with the Berger #22427, 80.5gr full bore bullet but have just begun testing with a RRA 20" ss barrel 1:8 twist. So far it is shooting mid two's at 45°temperature. When temps get to 90's the groups tend to open up a bit at 100 yds. The only yardage I am...

    Jugs for powder storage????

Maybe 20 year ago my local gun store would buy and repackage powder in 1-2 pound paper cylinders. Sort of like what Sinclair sells for small die storage or similar to 1 pound Quaker Oat meal container. Never saw a problem with the paper cylinder. Centerfire

    Cutting lead

Possible answer The usual rule of thumb I have always heard is you want 3 teeth in the item to be cut. Therrefore you don't need a 32 tooth blade but a 3 tooth might be too agressive. Check the distributors of lennox, Starrett, etc Possible vendors are Enco, MSC, etc. Centerfire

    Mickey Coleman ... Help

suggestion Just a thought. Measure one of the new sized brass cases from datum to head. Try sizing it .002" more and see if it will chamber. If not try .002" more and measure. This should give you some idea to help you. Centerfire

    Humidity...How much?

suggestion Zini, If you would like to try something like a golden rod without buying it first get your electrical wire through the safe and connect it to a screw in light bulb around 15-25 Watts. Put a thermometer in the safe before and after. You just want the temp to be just a little warmer...

    Yards vs. meters ?

Good question Let me try to give you a simple answer that I would do. Go to the 1st range of your choice-shoot-adjust your scope. Put a small piece of masking tape on the stock that tells you what you have done. Like sighted in for 100 yds (date) Then go to the second range- shoot- and record...
