Hi From Otario; Leaving Tomorrow 3pm, got directions from Bill Gammon and I have herd there could be more Canuks coming, this will be my 3rd great U.S. match, the weather couldnt be as bad as here could it. Thank you all for the invite to get me across the Boarder, Robert Lehman

Welcome Robert. 3PM might get ya jammed up at the border. How far into Otario???
Sometimes it's a 3 hr wait for customs. They like to look over the Law abiding REAL good. Make sure you cross your T's and dot your I's.
Last time, I looked at weather it was getting better. But, that could change.

Hi guys just 3 hr drive to the boarder then 1.5 to the range hotel Comford Inn, what time do you think the range will be open on saturday mornig,Would like to take a good look before the match, Coming from Fergus. Robert Lehman

0700 for sure. Shooting starts at 0900. Dana might be there before that.
The Comfort inn. Might be Called the Canadian Comfort Inn.
Robert, that's where all the Canucks are staying. See ya at the range.

Update. Everyone found the place.
And everyone was having a great time, today. I don't think, I heard anyone complain about not being able to see their target. It didn't snow. Nor was it too hot.
Just a whole lot of switchy winds. 20-30 mph. And some rain. 50 degrees or so.
Chuck Green won 100 agg. with a .1610 agg. Jack Neary close behind.

Tim, how many shooters are there? Sunday's conditions look like they will be pretty rough.

Good Luck,
Lee

ps. I've got a cold, and thought it would be best if I stay indoors this weekend.

Hi Lee. Yea, it was best to stay inside. I will send an email.
It was cold and windy. See new thread.
24 shooters.

Hi tim got home and made plans for the end of the mounth, the holtn match is been confermed. W. W. was right at the top as great ranges if holton is anything that nice it would only be my lose not to get down there and show the Canadian support for our sport, dont think you want yoo many of us, My first regesterd NBRSA match could not have been better, you guys made all weekend run so smooth even if a few targets blow loose, Just showd me the quality in U.S. Benchrest Robert Lehman

You are welcome. I hope, I can speak for the other folks. Canucks are always welcome. You are part of NBRSA. Maybe some day, you can get on the WBC Team.
Your scores were impressive. And you figured out the wind.
Your chauffeur could make the Super Shoot more interesting. There is a Father / Daughter trophy.....
Holton is a great place to shoot. I have always had good luck there.
Arlene Inman runs the kitchen. John's wife. And does a great job. Plan on eating at the range. Even for dinner. Arlene serves something Friday and Sunday night. Which was not the case in yrs. past. That means more shooting time. Instead of finding a restaurant.

Sat. is steak cook out. Grill your own steak. Or chicken.....The steaks are huge. I did not know, they grew them that big. Plus all the extras. I go just for the steaks......

Wind and mirage are my friends.
