i want a 6br for p/d shooting next year. anyone have a good rig they want to sell. am leaning towards savage but all considered. there are some good deals on coopers but i just cant bring myself to take one of those marvelous rifles out there in the sun and sand.

Bob I guess you still haven't read the post yet? Wilbur no longer wants people soliciting for parts or rifles on the forums.He wants you to post an ad in the classifieds.I might be misunderstanding his thread and one of the Supermoderators will likely correct this.

well i got a very nice reponse to my plea for a 6br rifle. very low bullet count and about just what i want.

if i buy it then i will send wilber 10bux or so for the use of his very nice forumn.

as far as being above the rules i dont think so i would have done this anyway.

beats beating bill calfees drum for hours doesnt it?, kinda the pot calling it black isnt it.

I read your post originaly because I have a half dozen 6BR rifles I never use anymore.
I have given a half dozen 6BR barrels away on this website for free just because it looked like the poster was in need of a custom barrel with load data to make it sing.
I was actually thinking of selling you a very nice rifle for a ridiculously low price and sending Wilbur the fee myself until you turned out to be a total A$$hole.

Now your making me think even worse of you by picking on somebody who can't even post here anymore and to make matters worse your the one breaking forum rules.

It is unfortunate you don't understand the concept of paying for an ad.

I don't want the last word and my panties are not in a wad.I merely pointed out the obvious to the original poster and he took it all wrong and started the name calling game.

I don't know why you bothered posting as you already know the rules but you chose to.I like 95% of your posts as they are generaly informative or enlightening this was neither.

Its Wilburs forum and if he asks everybody to place there ads in the classifieds and not put it on the forum why not follow this simple request? I am sorry the original poster and yourself feel the need to go against the grain as I honestly don't get your point

thanks for the support. this feud has been going on for quite some tieme ever since i objected to bill calfee soutrageous charge of 50 dollars to merely tell me what he had done to a rifle i purchased.

i still shoot the rifle and am getting along just fine with it. i am getting ready to change out the crappy stock on it and fix that if dan ever gets my stock in that is.

its going to be interesting to see the winning rifles this year. i saw a fabulous bill meyers at nationals but i didnt catch the shooters name.

There is no feud.
If you feel you need to disobey Wilburs Rules go ahead and do it.I am glad Butch wants you too break the forums rules and is encouraging this behaviour.
I am in no way connected to/affiliated to Bill Calfee.
If he charges you for a service and you don't want/can't afford to pay it why cry about it here? You never even bought the rifle from Calfee in the first place.
It is obvious to everyone you don't want to or can't afford to pay for anybodies services and feel you are above it all.
Do you live in Texas?

considering a 2k 6br i certainly can afford a small payment to wilbur. why dont you let wilbur run his board and you leave it alone. or better yet why dont you start your own board?

then you can be the ringmaster!!!!!!!!!
