Shooters, bring whatever you would take to a match at home. Stools, chairs, coolers , tent, umbrella, flags and rifle. There will be an 80 ft tent w/ 64 tables and 80 chairs, porta johns and permanent restrooms for handicapped, water chillers , food will be on the grounds for lunch 11:30 to about 1:30, menu will be standard American items w/ 2 sides. Malcolms girls will have sodas and snacks. Practice on Wed, Thu, Fri before the match. It will be busy Wed as that is the day for deliverys of said equipment. They have my credit card charged up to the hilt, so they better show up! It will be tropical in the weather dept. , however you must remain dressed, it is not an island paradise, although we will have the heat and the bugs. sadly no wahines, not yet anyway. It will be a circus I am sure , so bring your noise makers and whirlygigs so you will feel right at home.
Working on clowns, but I think , including me, there will be more than enough for entertainment. Again , bring a shelter if you have one, the more the merrier, and we can always not use it. Seriously, we will have a blast, sorry you will miss Ol' Nick and David from Aus, they are not coming, those 2 were worth the trip to Italy, and I cant forget the old marine from the UK, Jim, 84 years old and mean as a snake. So come on down and watch this hootenanny and be prepared to consume adult beverages when the sun goes down. With some cooperation from all, we can have a shoot to remember. thank you in advance, Craig Young, Match Director

Thanks

Hi Jim . I well see you soon . Cold drinks and cool heads and we well all have the time of our life's . I am not sure when Tod and I well get there . Thank You for all the work you have done and well do in the next 3 weeks .

Who's bringing the pool to dive into.. I've got the 100' ladder tied to the top of my volkswagon bug... I tied it down to the paisley flowers. Hope to see ya on Wed.

Just get out that other credit card and keep spending Craig:)

Craig,

I can't tell you how much I (WE) appreciate what you are doing and have done to pull things together down there. I won't be getting in until sometime Thursday, probably later than early, as I'll be heading out from here around 4A.M. Wednesday morning with ±1000 miles to go, and no one to share the duties with.

Once there, if there's anything I can do just ask and I'll be more than happy to carry my share of the load. But, please keep in mind when asking that I'll guarantee there will be no one in attendance that hates the heat and humidity more than I, so please bare with me as it may take me a bit longer to do what needs doing.

See you all in three weeks,

Dave

You a likely incorrect. I think I hate the humidity more than you if you are able to live that close to it.

LD,

I live almost 1000 miles due North of Charleston (less than 200 from the Canadian border), so it ain't that close. And I'm not questioning you hate the heat and/or humidity just as much as I do. What I said was, no one there will hate it more than I will.

Let me ask you this: when you get a foot or 2 of snow out your way and the thermometer is reading on either side of 0° F, if you were to go out and shovel it dressed as you are right now except for wearing gloves and boots, but with no coat or hat, would you work up a sweat in a manner of minutes? I'd need a shower! As any of my fellow shooters will tell you, once the mercury hits anything above 65°, I'm pretty much miserable, and because of that it was a tough decision on whether to make the trip or not.

Be seeing you shortly,

Dave

I'm really sorry not to be going to the event, mainly for the reason you have highlighted. That along with any tiny critter that flies or crawls love to take bites out of me, no matter how much Deet I bath in.

I'm sure the US will put on a fantastic event, the memories of which will stay with you for a long time. Look on the bright side, at least you'll lose a little weight :D

Craig,
I just found out there's a clown on my team(Team B LV). Is it ok to use a bottle of seltzer on him to keep him in line???
Todd Banks

Damn, there is something else I forgot, where can I get precanned seltzer water? I will google it.

Craig,
if You find it, make a big order for it, there is going to be a lot of us clowns there!!

seems to me.. that it was the clowns that got to use the seltzer water.. I had in mind a blast for every shooter who hits an X.. make em think twice about doing THAT again:)

If its not sticky, it could be refreshing! I'll bring a baggy to cover my scope (the rest of the gun is waterproof).

Thanks to Craig, the host range and all those who have made this happen. Be prepared for a new pellet lube, sweat.
