Winter Pastry League Results

As luck would have it, we had winds of over 20 MPH (gusting to over 35), in our first Winter Pastry League match. Considering the high winds, the lowest score shot was 246. The high scores were in the 249’s. A key to the good scores were the barbecued sausage and bratwurst, along with cheese cake, and Italian pastry for desert. Looking forward to the next match.

Next Match we need more shooters or less food. The leftovers are killing me.

my god the match sounds great just for the food alone!!! i love to cook and my fat belly shows i love to eat!!!! where is this match at:D!! i might not shoot, but i'll sure see to it that the left overs go way way down for you:D!!!

Wish I lived closer I'd be glad to help with those leftovers! Guess I'd have to double up on my cholesterol meds? Sounds like you all had a good time and ate well.

Hope you and Penny can make one this winter. When after plowing the range the Snow Banks get 10 to 12 feet high and with temps. the teens. The cabin fever really sets in. Grab a couple extra pills and come on over.

Gordon,

Tomorrow I'm putting new all weather tires on the Toyota that should handle that snowy Catskill winter!

Sounds good Mel...will you bring the Ketchup?

I guess you will have to provide the venison as the last I heard your brother was still sittiing in that tree waiting...and waiting...and waiting... :D

Al the Venison is tender and juicy We can get along with just salt and pepper.Do you have any connections for a bottle of good West Coast wine?

Mel, your makeing me drool. But no ketchup? I'll have such withdrawal shakes I won't be able to shoot. Just to keep the rimfire content alive...Do we have time, between bites, to take a shot or two? Now my thoughts turn to Ken's pastry, oh boy.

Now I have to go get a damp cloth and clean my keyboard.

I like pecans better myself, but we're kinda having a shortage down here....all the pickers are living off of the stimulus checks, so once they run out {OR WE RUN OUT!!} we should be back in business.:rolleyes:
