windage top or not

On a conventional front rest hart or sinclair do you like the windage top or no windage I am looking at sinclair top with windage what do you think?

Depends, you like group or score? I use mine for both though there are those who only like them for group.

Windage

It's probably cheaper to buy the windage and end up not using it than it is to not buy it...and then buy it later.

I would wait for Sincalir's to get ther new style top in. The one they have now pivots. It does not move straight side to side. They are having some new ones made that will work like the Hoen top. I talked to them about 2 weeks on this. I had a Midway top that pivoted & did not like it. I was able to find a Hoen top & put it on my Midway base.

Strange too, since Sinclair's original windage tops ran side to side. Had one, worked great. Never could figure why they changed.
