The best setup is a combination of conventional vane and ribbon flags in conjunction with one to two Wind Probes. Look upon the range and sea of vanes and ribbons to give the big picture;when satisfied with a general condition, turn your attention to the Wind Probes in your line of sight and trigger your shots from these.

There are lots of wind probes that work fine but if you want the best get a Beggs wind probe.

flags wind meters
TRY orlandowindflags@frontiernet.net for windmeters they work great
the cost is very good----for flags try hood they have twin tails and show
wind degree with stripes on the inside of the tail. I use three flags and 0ne wind meter the med size --put one flag-wind meater--flag ---flag about 12 foot apart also 12ft in frount of bench to first flag. this is for 50/50
