Wind Flag Question

I have some Hood wind flags, which I like, except the coroplast vanes are getting a little "used".
I am looking at Orlandos dual vane flags. Anyone use these? are they comparable to the dual vane hoods?

Thanks..Roy

Roy,
If you like and are use to what you have why not just buy some coroplast and replace the vane?
Any sign shop will have or can get it for you, any color for about $10 or less.

Sorry I didn't make myself clearer. I am considering buying Orlando flags. Does anyone here have experience with them to compare them to the Hood flags? Reading the right up on the Orlando flags, I see they are bearing mounted, maybe they would read the wind a little differently? I am always a little skeptical about reading product descriptions!

Pete, Thanks, I will be replacing the coroplast and thanks for the info about a sign shop stocking coroplast.

I know absolutely nothing about Orlando flags, but for practical purposes, if your Hood flags still turn when the wind changes you can't get much better. If you reversed the question the answer would be the same - just replace Hood with Orlando.

The problem is I don't think the hood flags are being made anymore, and I want 6 flags, I only have 3 hood flags.

I see, and that's a problem for sure. If the cost is not a problem, pick out some flags that you like and run with it. Alternatively, you can post a "wanted" ad in the classifieds for free and try to find three more Hood flags. Most folks that have Hood flags are centerfire shooters so a question on one of the centerfire forums may turn some up - I think the "Competition Benchrest.." forum would be the better.
