Bought this trigger a few years ago and saved for a special build. Got the build done using a M70 SS claw feed action. Installed the Jewell trigger, W-A 1 lb plus B and C springs. After adjusting the screws to every possible setting when closing the bolt, it will not cock. It appears to me that the bolt is not catching the sear in the trigger. I have two other M70's that I installed Jewells in with no problems. However, they are push feed varmint rifles. Anyone else encounter this problem? If so, is there a cure for this problem? I know on some 98 type Mausers, Timney has a trigger with a taller sear that cures this problem. When did Jewell close their doors? Any help appreciated.
