Winchester 52C- Trigger & Feed help needed

I just got a Winchester 52C (built in 1957) and shot it for the first time.
I'd like to get the trigger pull down to about 1 pound. I'd like to get some advice on how to get that done and if it's OK to do so. I live in northern Indiana, I hoped there may be a gunsmith that specializes in the 52 that you guys might recommend.
I've also got a feed problem, it only seems to happen when feeding the third round, the bullet wants to nose dive into the clip as the bolt comes forward.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I spoke to Butch, seems like a great guy. For $100 (plus shipping) he'll relocate the trigger pin, then tune and polish the rest of the goodies. He says he can get me down to a 4 oz. trigger pull.
I also spoke to Karl Kenyon, he too sounds like a really great guy, but, he gets $180 to do the trigger. As much as I'd like to spend money with Karl, I think my shooting abilities would never get used relative to the extra $80.

Butchs trigger work

Everyone I have heard has nothing but praise about Butchs trigger jobs.

Compared

I've had them done by three different smiths, and can not tell the differance. One of mine is down to 2 oz, and consistant. I only use it for BR, not any other disapline.
 
Fred, I have one done by Billy Stevens in Texas. I think that's his name? A very nice trigger that I still use in club matches every Friday.
