Winchester 52-D barrel removal

What's the proper proceedure for removing a winchester 52-D barrel. Is there a special wrench that fits in the bolt space and engages the flat on the bottom or is the action placed in the vise and a V wrench placed on the barrel? Also is any heat required?

Dokey,

Standard barrel removal procedures will work for this rifle - this means a barrel vise with properly sized bushings and a properly adjusted action wrench on the action. You may have not received an answer from this forum as we fear for the fate of this fine rifle if you need to ask this question.
