Williamsport "World Open" Report?

Anyone heard how the guys up in Williamsport ended up? Particularly ours guys from NC: Ray Lowman, Shannon Lowman, and Darrel Renegar. Thanks for any news,

I just logged in to see who won. Maybe they had a big fight, said to hell with it & sent everyone home without declaring a winner.
I was surprised we didn't get an update yesterday.
 
There was a small "glich in the update process" the results will be posted on the website soon.
The 2 gun winner was Mark King
HG overall as Frank Weber
LG overall was Tom Murtiff
Junior shooter was Brandon Chacken
Women LG champ was Melissa Wagner
Women HG champ was Veronica Martin

Congradulations to all the winners! To win among the best 1000 yard shooters in the country (world) is a big accomplishment!
Keep us posted as to when the finals will be posted Matt. Any idea what calibers the winners were shooting?
I would have loved to have been there. I am planning on making it next year. I have heard alot of great things about the match from guys that have been there. I would like to stretch my Dashers out and see what they can do at 1000. I might fall flat on my face with my pea shooters, but I sure would like to make that shoot one time.

Sam, I really hate to say this,since I mainly shoot 300wsm's,but the top overall 2 gun,HG overall,LG overall shot dashers!!!So,I'm sure you would do quite well.

I want to say Thank You to everyone that made the World Open such a good time. That was the smoothest running match I have ever been at. From the pit chairs to the pullers. The range masters, and the target crew. The registration, the prizes, the food, and all the sponsors. All the board members, and the volunteers. And huge Thank You to the medical professionals we were so lucky to have at the match. Thank you to all the competitors and everyone that had anything to do with making the world open a great weekend.
I will return next year with my new scopes from the good people at Leupold, Sightron, and US Optics. Awesome prizes from Awesome sponsors.

We’ll just see how the “little bullet” shooters do NEXT year! :D
 
I would like to second that, thanks to everyone for the hospitality,fellowship and the good time. I think it was the worst year ever for me and "the carolina crew", but we had a good time!! I will use all the excuses, wind blew, bad light, etc!!! For anyone who has never been, it is worth the trip, you will not find a bigger prize table or more well run match anywhere!! Thanks again to everyone in PA Shannon
