I am an IBS shooter but have been following the dialogue regarding the 17# light gun rule change. What will this do to the records made with 16.5# guns when broken with 17# guns?
It won't do anything to em. Yer name'll be in the book and on the wall. The person who shot the previous record will become the former record holder and the person who shoots the new record will become the current record holder.
Who knows, maybe the person who shoots the new record will be using a gun that fits the old rules. Should that make a difference or warrant a note on their target? I'm not sure what the guns weighed that shot the last records. Should we make a note of that too?
