Williamsport World Open

The 40th Anniversary World Open will be held at the club on July 12 and 13th. All info including registration forms, rules, course of fire, accomodations, etc can be found at www.pa1000yard.com. Please note the registration deadline on Friday the 11th. Get those registration forms in as the allocated slots are filling up quickly. We've had great response from shooters and sponsors alike even in these tough economic times. Below is a partial list of prize donors and the list grows daily.

World Open

We WILL have an attendance record this year. Our preregistrations are about 50 ahead of last year. Why? Not sure but the recent rule changes may be a factor. We DO allow muzzle breaks in heavy gun. We DO weigh light guns. When you arrive at the range, the scale ia available. Please weigh your light rifle.
 
If all goes as planned....

I will be there along with a couple other shooters from Ohio. This will be the first World Open I have ever attended and I'm looking forward to it. Hope we have great weather for it.

I sure hope this is well attended. With the changes that have been made with the rules, this is now a true "World Open" match and I hope the PA club gets rewarded for thier efforts and changes that have taken place over the last couple of years!

Unfortunetely I won't be able to make it again this year. There is a good bunch of guys coming up from several of the southern clubs again this year. Best of luck to everyone and travel safe!

Steve- Too bad you can't make it again this year. I always enjoy puttin' a wipin' on ya. Or vice versa.

Anyone gona be around Thursday morning? I want to work on my HG and I would like to set up my scale and toys inside. You think it'll be crowded Thur. or should I come even earlier like Wed.. Not much for crowds! I plan on staying right through till Sunday. I really havn't had the time to work on my HG, so I'm kinda pressed for time. I don't want to drive all the way there to be locked out.
