Will rem 700 stock fit a 722?

I have a 722 and wondering if a 700 sA stock can be made to fit?

yes with some modifications

if the 722 has the rear factory sight boss,you will need to fit it in the barrel channel,the wood at top of safety lever will need to be cut down a bit so the lever will operate and if you don't use the 70 bottom metal,then you will need to do some fitting on the 722 bottom metal
