Will a Remington .300 Win Mag 700 BDL action feed the 7MM Mag?

I was wondering if I could buy a Remington 700 long action in 300Win mag BDL, and simply swap out the barrel for a 7mm Mag barrel, and use everything else as-is as a donor rifle to make a 7mm mag rifle.

(ie: is the magazine well, the follower, and everything else the same between a 300Win mag and 7mm?)

want a low round count bbl ?

I'm looking to make me a long distance wood-chuck shooter and 100 yard precision paper shooter.

I buy only stainless actions, and that reduces the pool of available rifles for me to buy, as blue or black 7mm mag rifles are plentiful to find at a low price.
 
I just finished doing the same swap on a Savage 300 Winchester. It's not the same action as yours but the conversion worked and fed just fine. I was either going to go with the 7mm Remington Magnum or the 30-338 Magnum to wind up with a rifle that I could load to seat at or near the lands without overrunning the length of the magazine like in the 300 Winchester. Your 700 Remington should work the same.

my left hand savage 300 win mag is gonna be a 284 win when it is done...( by the way the rem 7mm is lefty too)
