Wilderness road results

Just an observation----3 Gun AGG---3 Sporters and 3 Heavy Guns---Interestingly all 6 guns were built by the same Smith!!

He said Smith? Must be Bill Smith or Wayne Smith?
Good shooting guys!!! Congrats to all the winners!
Ernie, did you get a head start? Good sporter target.

Cliff,
The same smith that built your sporter,Gordon Eck.

Kent,
Cliff said I could have a head start, but with an unacceptable condition!

The Sporter Nationals will be here in 67 days
Friday August 13th 2010
The Old Saying time Fly’s when you are having Fun
Is very True

We had 78 shooters at last years Sporter Nationals
And I am anticipating over 100 shooters this year
I have already had people wonting to Pre Enter
This was the HIGH LIGHT of Last Years Nationals

I think the Competition will be better this year
After the shooters have had time to think
About A 200 year old Man wining it Last year
Can you image he is still telling People he can’t see

This will be one of the most Fun Days of Rimfire
Having Fun with our Little Fun Guns

He's not kidding. That 200 year old man can't see.His secret is that ECK sporter he's shooting. You just point it in the general direction and the bullet knows where to go.At least thats what Pepper told me!!

Ernie,
Did you shoot a 249-17X in sporter or a 249-18X??? It's listed here on this thread as 249-17X and in the results as 249-18X?

Only 18. I'm having trouble getting a high "x" count with this new ECK barrel.

New barrel? You wore the old one out already? I've been shooting the same one since 2005.
The new ones just don't seem to last as long as the old ones. Good score!!!!

The old barrel still shoots.Trying something new/old.It looks like this new barrel that Gordons using is less wind sensitive and since its not MI there's no wear factor to be concerned about.I just started testing.Wilderness Road was the first time I shot the gun.I don't even know what ammo it likes. We'll talk more about it this weekend at Sparta.
