The Windy Match of May.
I can't say that I recall shooting a match where I had to hold so close to the '6' line consistently as today's match required. Scores reflect today's difficulty was felt by all. Thanks to Wayne and Linda for the crockpot escape between cards 2 & 3. The results:

Mike Hopkins HV FWB P70 243/4x 244/10x 245/7x 732/21x

Linda Hopkins HV FWB P70 243/4x 241/7x 240/3x 724/14x

Mike,
Thanks for posting the results. This Spring has been terrible for shooting. Four States at five different ranges with awful conditions! Hope June calms down some.

Those P-70's sure are shooting GREAT!

Wayne, We could of used your LV score against Italy this past weekend. Both of your USFT's are shooting consistent.

Steve, Next match you will be back in the 700's

Howdy Hey Paul,

Yep, those P70s and Grants Pass folks are really tough to beat!... and so great be around, and to shoot with.. I enjoy my meager efforts there every time!!!

I did a heavy duty polishing on my barrels and that helped with the "flyer" issue I was having due to lead build up from a burr... I think.. I've got another HW barrel that tested well, and I'm gonna put that on my LV rig for the next match.. we'll see... as they say:)... USFT #178 with the HPA regulated bottle, is giving me 60 shots on a fill, with a real tight spread.. it's up to the barrel.. and the shooter now:)

Wacky Wayne
