On one side of the range and Silhouette shooters practicing on the other side for this week’s state IHMSA match. Our rifle shooters got 3 more of the minimum 9 targets shot for national standing. That’s two 250s in consecutive matches for Linda. And it’s her first two matches ever
Shot! It was a fun and busy day. Thanks to all who came for the fun. Thanks go to Carol and
Wayne for the crockpot lunch.

Mike,
You will be lucky to shoot your FWB P-70 ever again! Great shooting Linda.

Wayne is #178 your newest USFT? If so it's a shooter nice 250 with 10X.

Steve and Oliver you both will soon be shooting 240's each card.

Enjoy your reports.

Hi Paul,

Yes, #178 is Tim's latest creation.. it's a bottle gun with a regulator.. (he delivered it to me after the match in Sacramento:))) Actually no one shot it at that match due to the weather), fill to 2,900 and it's reg'ed down to 1,250.. gets about 60 shots on a fill (I shot two cards on one fill, and the second was that 250).

It's not the LW barrel he put on it though.. that one didn't shoot that great, (as have the other two newer LW barrels I tried). This is one of the older HW barrels he had on the shelf for a long time after switching to the LW line. These HWs like the JSB 7.9 Express at 805fps, as do our 12fpe .177 cal Marauder rifles and pistols.. I bought out all four Tim had of those HWs.. glad I did.. Two out of three shoot real good.. I haven't tested the last one yet. I did a real deep cleaning and polishing of the bores, and it seems to help a whole lot! Three of them were a little rusty, but they cleaned up nice, and one of the rusty ones, is one of the best shooters.

I think #53 will be a shooter again too... I'm using her to test the barrels, and she is one (pellet size holing them 7.9s at 19 yards in my indoor shooting range.. is it possible I might have two LV rigs now?.. we'll see as we move into the outdoor season:)... Those EV2's set a really, really high bar! It's great to have a tough goal to shoot for:).. I look forward to shooting with you east coast folks again soon!

Wayne,
Conggratulations on your new regulated bottle USFT. Hope it shoots 250's all the time.
My new AA EV-2 I had to make a benchrest plate as the one from my AA S-400 MPR doesn't fit. Made it 2 1/2 " wide so fits the gun cases better than the 3" ones. Free floated the barrel and shot with the stripper off. First target 8.4 JSB 250. (ventilation off) Second target, powder burners using the range so vents on. 10.3 JSB 249, Third target vent still on. JSB monster 13gr another 249. So this Sunday I should be all set for Todds shoot in N.Y. Took the Weaver T-36 off the Steyr until I get another scope.
