What a good match day it was for 7 shooters. Linda shot her first ever 250 and continues to climb up the finisher’s ladder. Wayne’s 250 would have lead a terrific 3-card score if 1 bull had not been missed altogether on the 1st card. 7 shooters, 7 250s. Kind of rhymes. A good warm up for the UK Postal in 2 weeks.

I see a 750 60x on the horizon in a couple of weeks.

Well done Mike and the rest of Wild River.

Great Shooting by all!

Mike,
Looks like everyone found pellets for the UK Postal match.

Linda, Congrats on your first of many 250's.

Wayne, Didn't you learn at the Worlds to shoot all 25 bulls? What did you do to get the USFT shooting Great?

Good luck at your next match! Hope the USA shoots well enough to get one medal!

Paul..

I thought I learned that lesson:)

But, even though I went over the card like I always do now... my old eyes just missed that bull for some strange reason..

I always start at the bottom now and work across.. then up a row and across again.. I was nailing most of um with "X" and decent tens, but I had just had a barely makin it shot and went to the sighters to check things out.. another "iffy" and then two "X"s, so back to the card.. I guess I screwed up on that row.

I found two tins of 2008 baracudda 10.35 grain... that shoot real well if I weigh em... not many after they got weighed, but enough for the big match coming up.. Considering I hit two "X"s with those sighters, I guess that 240 would have been at least a 249 and then a 748 for the match. talk about a dumb move on my part:)

Wacky Wayne..
