Who is the best air rifle benchrest shooter in the United States?

Who is the best........

First off that is a very loaded question.

Anybody who has shot serious BR or any other highly competitive sport knows that on any given day at any given match there will be several competitors of equal talent. One of them is going to have everything work for him on THIS day. If the match was held on another day most likely another shooter would win. However if a trend emerges and you start to see a particular shooter consistently taking all the marbles from different ranges then perhaps one could say he is the best shooter as the stats prove it.

Otherwise I would say there are always going to be several contenders for the honors.
