I notice that this user, yellowstonepart, has been posting in a few threads.......absolutely nothing to do with the subject of the thread and should be removed.

You cant deldete it for why??????????????:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Yellowstone

I guess it's not unusual for a forum to get spammed. I wish he had a toll free number, we could all call China to say hi to Michael Weng, and tell him to get the F off this forum. There is a mobile number if you follow the link he provides.

On another note.... where is the "report" link?

They're all gone...

Found seven of them in various posts, deleted as spam. I also deleted the comments regarding them.

Apparently one of the moderators can remove posts and not leave a footprint nor have the guts to say why!!!!!!!! BUT this thread still shows I had a previous post submitted here because the blue check mark still exists.

Listen moderators, at least have the guts to state why a post was deleted. This site is getting worse on censorship than the MNM (Major News Media).

Jerry,
I have not deleted a post in a while, but here is the deal. I only pull those that are spam or an obvious problem, and when I do I don't want to get into a discussion about my judgment on the matter. Wilbur gave me the responsibility. I do the job the best that I can. Some guys seem to intentionally stir things up, and thrive on the acrimony that results (I am no putting this label on you.) and giving one of these material to work with would be counterproductive. Usually, if a post is just borderline, I leave it alone. Occasionally, I get an email, pointing me to a problem. That is OK. BTW I do not suffer from the delusion that my posts have all been perfect. There have been times that I should have not pushed post myself.

Hey, Jerry

All the moderators can remove posts without leaving footprints.

When I delete spam, I also delete the comments made about it so the posters don't look like blathering idiots, commenting on something that can no longer be seen.

Of course, there are many who can do this without my intervention.;)

"Report link"

From the FAQ...

What if I see something offensive?

You will find 'Report' links in many places throughout the board. These links allow you to alert the board staff to anything which you find to be offensive, objectionable or illegal.

I saw these posts from yellowstoneparts just after they were posted and would have reported them to the moderators if I could have found the "report a post as junk" link, I still can't find the link. Where is it, or is it not nessessary to report a post and just let the moderators handle it when they come across an inappropriate post?
