How's things coming along at Whitehorse for this season? Looking forward to a couple trips there this summer and was wondering what you all had done to the place so far. Look forward to seeing the gang again. Wont see you until May at Harry Jones though. Ohio State Scarlet/Gray game that day and several college buddies and our wives are getting together for the weekend.

PS. Those barrels SHOOT awesome in the .300WSM's thanks! Customers are shooting out to ONE-MILE with GREAT accuracy!
 
I am still open to Whitehorse first match weekend if anyone wants to share a ride.

The first Whitehorse match is in June and as of now I have that one planned. The Harry Jones match is April 25th, the same day as the Scarlet & Gray Game, which I comitted to sometime last fall. Friend of mine from Newark's son started Winter Qtr, so he is eligble to play in the game as a freshman. Ought to be fun watching Storm play the next several years.

I am sure you could probably find several shooters from Ohio to carpool to Fairmont, WV on the 25th.

Hey Rob sorry about being so long getting back to you I talked to one of the directors at Whitehorse and was told that we'll have a concrete pad and estimated at least 10 benches the covered firing point is possible by first match if the finances lets them do it being as they're just getting started we need to join their club so as to give them extra finances so they can get a lot more completed because we're going to have a fine club and i think there will be alot of shooters and the road going up to the benches is being rerouted so as to make it easily acceptable for cars and they have already got their footers dug for concrete pad as soon as it dries up so they will be up and running by the first match with no problems the seasoned shooters such as yourself and others will have to give them some solid advice on various thing they are not familiar with looking forward to seeing you and all the guys all over that we expect to see just take it easy on me and we better watch out for that sabo he's gunning for us.

Can you post here or send an application to join Whitehorse? I will be happy to send the membership fee for the year to use for the expenses. I hope you WV gents are willing to adopt a couple of us Ohioans.

Whitehorse and Harry Jones ranges are both in WV. Probably about 4-1/2 hours for us. I have replies from some gents in western Ohio who also want to go so it is quite possible we can all share a ride w/ our equipment in a trailer.

You're kidding right Stan? It's you that needs to take it easy on me! Sabo's got a hammer going in that barrel he got from Tim and I am sure Jim has something in the works too. Rumor is that Ice has several barrels done up for this year too. Then you got the rest of the WV gang that just shoots lights out. Then with Dienes and the Lucas clan coming in, it's gonna be a tough row to hoe! I need to spend some time at Whitehorse and learn the winds there. That is one tricky sonnagun.

I finally managed to wrangle the HG rest I wanted. It should be here Tuesday. All set with HGs. Got a 300WSM barrel done up by the Springmans and a HSM done up by Tooley. Need to get you one the phone someday and chat with you about some LG work. Got any 6.5 and/or 30 barrels around in LG taper?

Rob give me a holler when you decide what caliber and profile you want it won;t take long to get you a good one cuzz we have to get our a game going so we can protect our assets from the iceman he bound to find a hummer out of 4 or five barrels surely Im trying to one to work thats all i can do is one. Tell jeff and all people interested to join whitehorse go to the IBS web page under ranges and they will find Ed Tenny address under white horse contacts and his adress to send member ship dues of the amount of fifty dollars a year just send a check to him and looking forward to shooting with you guys this year we had alot of fun last season hopefully ican better myself this year thank again.

Hey Dan, good to see you posting and coming back to shoot more. Nats are in Iowa again this year. Let's plan on that one, the last time was a haul and a half but we each made it back in one piece!

Other then the WV matches, I am planning on World Open in PA, Iowa Nats and maybe a trip or 3 to NC.

Wassum..did you see place in Malvern is doing 600yd F Class now and will have their 1000yd line in this summer? Pretty much in your back yard isnt it? And only like 60 miles or so for me. Always wanted to give F Class a try and with a place this close....well you know!

Stan...I'll call you this weekend. Looking to get a fresh barrel for my 6.5 LG for now, and maybe a 300WSM for that rifle you have there at the shop. Took the barrel off my LG after Nats and saving it for those special days. I gotta a couple here at the house with some miles on them, but still pretty decent shape. You got anything with a 1000yd taper lying around in the shop that will finish at 28"?

Let me know of any plans. Especially if you want to head up to Malvern. I've never shot F class before. Yes I finished school last May and have been wanting to get back in the game ever since. Now I have a little more time.

And I'll make time to go pig hunting.
