alright guys, here we go again another friendly match to help get this club set up for ibs next spring the money we take in will help build covered firing point. so this match will be sept. 13th. registration will be at 8am. we will be giving a rifle barrell away same as last time for each position light gun heavy gun and 2 gun. 2nd place money we receive donations which will buy 2x4s for covered firing point if you need directions look at the old post from the last match. looking forward to seeing you shooters soon thanks stan

Same format as last time? ( 2 relays for Heavy and Light, no shootoff) trying to get brass ready and was wondering how many rnds to bring.

whitehorse 1000yard range in wv

alright shooters directions to the range in wva north bound i79 to exit 99 go east on 33 to buchannon take 20 north about 10 miles there will be sign on left tha says white horse shootin center on left right at crouse rd go up gravel road to range south bound take exit 115 go south on 20 about 10 miles look for same sign on the right about 1mile and a half beyond the barbour conty line take enough ammo for two light and two heavy matches. thanks stan

I'm doing my best to be able to attend this weekend. Looking forward to it with hope of pulling another 2" group out of my light gun. Wish I could have done it at the Nationals like the day before. With all the silly rumors I've heard after the fact I'm moving in for the kill so to speak. I'm still alive and well and so is the Hulk...and Thunder Valley too, for all those who are wondering.
I love this sport with all my heart!

White Horse 1000 Yard Matches

No October match...2009 schedule starts in May...with the first IBS 1000 yard benchrest match scheduled for June 13, with rain date of June 14. Food is available at the event. Entry is $30 per gun for pre-entries. $35 on the day of the match for walk-on entries. Improvements to the facility are currently underway...with some major changes scheduled for the winter months. A couple of additions will be a graveled parking lot and entrance roadway to the 1000 yard line. Practice days are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month 7am till 11am, and the 2nd and 4th Sundays...same early morning hours. Any questions, email me at mountaineer063@yahoo.com
