Which scope would you choose?

If you had two choices which scope would you pick and why?

Either a 4-14x44mm FFP or a 5-25x50mm FFP?

Since the reticule enlarges as the power increases but stays the same size in proportion to the target does this bother you? I heard someone say that with a FFP it is like looking down a tunnel. What does that mean? I've never looked through a FFP.

Would be used mostly for long range hunting and some target shooting to a max of 600 yards with a 6mm Norma BR.

FFP scopes are mainly used for tactical use, ranging so the mils are correct for any power setting. For target use a lot of guys don't like the FFP because at low power the cross hairs get very small. I would use the 5x25. You can always dial down the power if you have to but you can't dial up what you don't have.
