Which reamer is best for .308win and 155gr Lapua Scenars?

I believe Dave Kiff has a 95 Palma Reamer that would work good. If it's a comp gun you may want to check before you order it to see if the go/no go comp gauges will work in the throat. I'm not a high-power shooter but I remember a topic concerning the throat at matches and them being checked with gauges.

I think that the 95 Palma might be a tad short in the throat. I just ran some Scenars against some Sierra 155 Palmas ( the projectile the 95 Palma reamer was designed for) across my comparitor & the Scenars run up to .140" longer base to ogive than the Sierras. That difference could run to a fair bit of wasted case capacity if you were looking to optimise velocity & gain the most benefit from the Scenars' better BC.

I don't have any 175 SMKs at the moment, but the Scenars are pretty much like a few 2003 178 Amaxes that are lying around my bench.

I think that you would be better off with a throat that suits 175-178s.
