I'm not what I consider a "Benchrest Shooter". Although I am a rimfire/accuracy nut. Where is the range in Macon county? I'd like to check out the matches and I'm just down the road in Perry.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Macon Co Range

Macon County Gun Club - .5 miles south of the 7 mile marker (left side of the road)

White Water State Park – entrance to MCGC is .3 mile north of WWSP on the right.
If you are coming from the North down I-75 take the Perry-Montezuma Exit on to Hwy 224. At the top of the ramp turn right. Go approximately 5 miles and at the Y go right towards Marshallville (SR-127). Go straight through Marshallville, the road changes to Hwy 49 – SR127, about 5 miles outside of Marshallville turn to the right on to Hwy 127. You cross the Flint River continue on until you have to stop. Turn Left on Hwy 128 (towards Oglethorpe -South), go past the 7 mile marker and the entrance to the Macon Co. Gun Club is on the left (.5 miles). (You will be going down a slight incline on the left there are several barns, one is a steel half circle, and the entrance is about 75 yards on the left. There is a white mail box on the right.
From the South by way of I-75
Exit at Vienna Hawkinsville (SR 90) – the first exit after the rest stop on I-75. Go straight thru Vienna on Hwy 90 to Montezuma (approximately 30 miles). At the second traffic light bear left on Hwy 26, cross the Flint River, just past the Chevron station turn right onto Riverview Lane. Turn right again at Sumter Street, cross the railroad track, straight at the red light thru town (Oglethorpe). You are on SR 128, cross another railroad track, bear right onto SR128 towards (Reynolds) at the Y intersection. Cross the White Water bridge, after passing the entrance to White Water State Park on the left the MCGC is .3 mile on the right. There is a white mail box on the left side of the road. The GA State is this weekend why not plan to come. Friday afternoon there will be practice at the Macon County Range. Saturday will be the Yards portion at the Georgetown Range and Sunday will be Meters back at Macon Cty.
Contact Bob Collins or Leonard Worthy if you need an more details.
If you decide that Rimfire is not for you then come for the Food. It is some of the best home cooking you will find at any match.:D
