I forgot ...LA is southern CA too..hahah......I will be in the SanDiego area...wayyyyyy down there...He is still out on deployment and will be bak soon ...but unable to scout around....I have been to the Pala (sp-??) range up north of town...I found it last yr while on my way to Mt.Palomar observitory...it is a perfect place to shoot long range...((just my cup-0-tea))..I will go there again...was just wondering if there were any point blank ranges closer ....the folks at Pala made me at home last summer and I hope to go there and zero my rifle and meet some shooters......Thanks for the replies....
Carl ,are any of the Seattle guys coming down for the 600yd Nats.???? (maby you???) I know several folks there are great long range shooters.....hope to see uu there...Roger

He is coming all the way from West By God Virginia to take home some of our California Gold.
I hear he has a brand new rifle that is shooting little bitty groups so send him to a range that is as close to a earthquake fault line as possible.We need to shake him up before the big match in April.
Roger all kidding aside we have a 500 yard practice bench set-up in northern california and those little 6BR's are really fun to shoot at that distance.
Dad says to say hello to you and we'll have a cooler full of orange juice ready when you get here.
I get up at 4 AM and get home at 5PM everyday of the week except sunday thats why our paths never cross on the telephone.

south bay rod and gun, a range in el cajon, and ???/ well if you are luckie...get on to camp pendleton lots of ranges lots of distance, ask any sniper....actual benchrest...well the other guys probably know....
