I thought it would be helpful to the new shooters for everyone here to list what you are shooting. List all details including action, stock, barrel (diameter and length), tuner (including weight and settings), bullets, rests, scopes, etc.

I'll start.

Hall action

McMillan Edge

Benchmark 16.5 twist 2 groove reverse taper 24.75" long

Von Ahrens tuner with bloop and 5 oz of weight, collar set at 1 rev from shoulder

Eley Black box EPS

Von Ahrens one piece rest

Weaver T24

last year i used:

left port right bolt hall action and jewell trigger

the stock was a wall nut benchrest stock

the barrel was a lilja 6 groove that went from 1.15 down to .875 at the muzzle.

it had a fudd tuner on it.

bsa 36x scope

next year

same lp/rb hall action and jewell trigger

don stith br stock

shilen 4 groove .900 ratchet barrel(no taper at all). i need to edit now. i'll be using a 6 groove hart barrel now. the shilens wasn't big enough for the older model hall action. the hart barrel has a shank on it that can be machined down for my action.

i haven't made up my mind on the tuner yet. it will either be a harrels or the rva tuner.

either a night force or weaver scope. mind not made up yet.

my back up rifle is a suhl 150

don stith stock

factory barrel

harrels tuner.

weaver t36 scope.

pappas one piece rest.

My Unlimited gun is a Hall left port right bolt, Broughton barrel fitted by Butch Hongisto, Harrell tuner with Pappas noodle.
Home made balsa wood, aluminium and fibreglass stock painted in House of Colour red pearl and 20 coats of clear. I do all my own leather work too.

I’m still working it out, but in the last 4 years its won 3 nationals (I didn’t shoot one last year) this year with a little help from the nice people at Lapua I’ve been shooting X-Act with some success http://www.lapua.com/index.php?id=842&tx_mininews_pi1[showUid]=187&cHash=0d51a31ef8

I don’t know how to post photos here but this is a link to an old photo. http://www.oz-rba.com/index_files/Page1600.htm

pete, you shoot a tuner on your sporter?

Yes we can use tuners on sporters and square and fiberglass stocks too.
Most of the sporter matches are 50 & 100 group and score. Try shooting group at 100m with a 6 power scope in a bit of wind.
