What size expander button. Do you need one for 262 necks?

large1, expander balls have been implicated in all sorts of bad things...case related.

Use a closely fitted die and NO expander ball, strive for fit such that your brass lasts a long time, your bolt closes easily and yet your brass doesn't grow in length. Very few people ever achieve the "don't grow in length" part but those who do can fire a case 50 times with no issues.

No optimum button IMO, just experiment

Thanks for the info. This I have never read but wondered why chg. bushings with an expander.
