Could any .300 WSM 1000yd users give me what powders to try with 210 Bergers, or even what powder is most often used? Thanks.

Thanks. Without having to name a specific load, would you suggest a ladder test from maybe 60 grains to
63? Are some people going higher?

ALAN: H-4350 Don't know what chamber you have so I would start at 59, you will probably end up at 61.5 or 62.

H4350 and H4350SC.....I don't think there is any diff between the regular and the SC....I have never fired them in the same group, but i shoot them in the same gun with the same brass, primers, and charge weight and see no difference.

To be honest, I have never tried anyting else.

If they do go higher, probably not by much. Some barrels allow a little more powder with equal pressure. It's more likely done for that than finding accuracy with more pressure or velocity. If your gun is like mine, you'll probably find yourself going up or down as much as a grain from "normal" depending upon the weather. But, it'll be in the range you specified. Primers will probably make more difference than will the powder charge, when staying from 60-63.

If your rifle is unusual, or the conditions allow, you may try R19 or H4831. Accurate A4350 is an oft overlooked powder in these as well.

That's a bit of a trick question.

In summer I'd use standards regardless. But, as temps go lower, down below 60F lets say, you may find a change to magnums or a brand change is good. Just cause one isn't quite as good under some conditions, does not mean it won't work another time.
