Standard reply this should be in the factory forum.

Try Hodgdon H322 in shorter barrels faster powders usually work better.
Vihta Vouri N133 is another powder that you should consider.

H335 and CCI 450 primers have worked in every 223 I have owned.

You did not say what bullet weight. I have had good luck/velocity with H335 and Accurate 2015 with 50-62 gr. bullets, in my 16". For 69-77 gr., you might want to try H4895, Varget, or VV 140.
