What happened with Leetown?

First let me say there is nothing wrong with Fairchance, I am looking forward to shooting the Nationals there, don`t want anything read into this!!!

However I was looking forward to the Hog shoot and the Nationals at Leetown and I see they have been moved and right now there`s nothing there?!

Benchrest was not shot at Leetown in 2010, so half of the benchrest range was re-designated as a pistol range. This this did not leave adequate facilities available to hold Nationals there. The range master decided to end his involvement, so there will be no matches at Leetown this year.
Looking forward to a great weekend at Fairchance this fall.

I didnt see the unlimited nationals posted ,since fairchance had it last year,surley another range will hold it this year.Just wondering?
 
It deeply saddens me to hear that Leetown, the range that Milt Cook was so involved with and the home range for IR 50/50 where it first got its chance, is now a thing of the past. Too bad.
