What Freebore for the big .22's??

Well I have fiddled with the 6 BR till I'm happy...and finally want to have a 22 to try at 600yds...I am contemplating either a 22 BR or 22 Dasher....my question is ...what ammount of FB is being used successfully with the 80 gr Sierra and Berger bullets,,its reamer time.......and ((what a moocher)) does anyone have a oddball 80 sierra or Berger that they culd send me...I will be eternally grateful....((and pay you for your time and bother..hahaha))...I wuld like a cupl to measure and do some calcs. of my own....thank you ....Roger

I shot a 22 Dasher last year and am working on tuning another one right now. My reamer has a .100" FB. That is a little short for the 90 gr. Berger VLD but you don't have to shoot it very long and the FB is "just right". I can send you 80 gr. Berger, SMK, Nosler or JLK just send me your address and I'll send you a sample pack.

Yes, it is a PTG reamer. My reamer is print # 13016. It has a .248" neck.I'll look for your message.
