What difference 20 ft per Second ?

Testing says about 4 points on 6 World Targets.

While setting up my BM500 demo rifle with Bench Mark Barrel, I first fired 3 targets for a 741 total with a 248, 247, 246 Thinking there may be a sweet spot. I boosted the velocity by 20 ft per second and today in similar wind conditions managed my personal best 3 target score and a range record, scored by Jimmy Martin and Steve Hefner. 250, 248, 247 for a 745 37X total. Pellets were right out of the tin and one flyer (not the wind) went to the eight ring on the last target. Nothing official and no real match pressure just testing.

Wish we had an indoor range for testing,

Good shooting Bob. I've had the pleasure of being able to borrow Mark Normandan's BM500 in 22 and shot my best ever Agg. dropping only 2 point for a 748, and that was in competition, but was also Indoors. They're definitely quite the gun.
