Hi everyone.Im just wondering what class I would have to shoot in with my rifle. It is a custom rifle that I had built for long range hunting an not realy for target shooting. This is what the rifle is.Its a 30-378 weatherby mag with a 30 inch hart barrel with a mcmillan a5 stock with a 6.5-20 leupold mark 4 scope,an the complete rifle weight is 15 pounds. So could someone tell me where I would be placed as in class. Thanks

For Official NRS F-Class matches, you would be in F-Class Open class. F-Class TR is reserved only for .223 and .308 rifles being shot from a bipod.

Regardles of the class, you'll need to be shooting your rig without a muzzle break. At only 15 pounds, I suspect that rifle is going to pound you into submission over teh course of a 3 string (unlimited sighters and 20 shots for record per string) day. The max I can handle without real discomfort over a 3 string match is 7WSM.
