the h&r 5200 is the comercial version of the m12, the price of the m12 has come down recently and a good one with sights can be had in the $400-$450 range. they are a heavy rifle. they were designed for 3 posistion shooting. with a scope and tuner they weigh in at 18lbs. my h&r m12 is fairly accurate, however it is extremely ammo sensitive, only shooting eley in speeds over 1075 well.
