What a difference a good rest makes

The 8 month wait was worth it -- rec'd my Cowan rest in the mail last week and couldn't wait to get to the range to see what it could do. Previously I was using a Caldwell BR front and while it was okay, it was difficult to adjust for windage and I always seemed to have to fight the bag to get the rifle to slide back up to the same spot. I was consistently shooting around 241-244, 4-6x no matter what the conditions were.

My first three targets with the Cowan were 246, 7x; 246 8x and finally 248, 10x! It was a sheer pleasure using the windage top on the Cowan and can't help that the extra weight in it was instrumental as well.

Just thought I'd pass on my positive experience in ordering Cowan's rest and knowing it's supporting his local community makes it even better. A great person and quality machinist to say the least...

Joe Cowan's

rests are first class items. I shot over a Caldwell, Bald Eagle and SEB before I got a Cowan. The Bald Eagle was comparable but no longer in production. The Cowan is an excellent value. Mine has been in use for over a year. I think you'll be pleased.

Where did you buy your Pappas rest at? Most shooters I know have received theirs within three days.

my pappas arrived!!!!!!!!

well the pappas arrived today. shipped in a very heavy built box double boxed matter of fact from jody read. this rest is a piece of absolute art. i got it out to the range this pm and it is amazing.

after using a caldwell firecontrol what a difference. i was able to put bullets into the very small circles on a american rimfire target at 50 yards so i am encouraged by what i saw.

thank you for building this fine rest mr. joe pappas i must say i am very very pleased with it. i am a happy person!!!

The tantrum you threw about how good and cheap a Calwell rest would fit your cheap needs was all whining and crying for nothing.

I won't fall for your threads anymore from this moment on. You are the first on my ignore list in several years. Congrats...........
